Greenergy Solar Industries (GSI) – a daughter company of the Hartman Companies – is manufacturing solar mounting structures engineered for use in large solar projects. A new factory that will have a capacity of more than 200 Megawatt per year is currently in the designing phase.

Three solar mounting structures are being engineered in close cooperation with the University of Stellenbosch whose mechanical department is currently re-calculating all structures "as a neutral party" to confirm load and strength specifications.
